A warm, safe space where you can explore who you are, where you've been, and where you want to go. No judgement, no pressure, just genuine human connection.

About Yelda
My path to counselling wasn't a straight line. After years in banking and finance, a period of deep personal change in my early 40s became a turning point. That lived experience, not just textbook knowledge, is what I bring into every session. I know what it feels like to start over, to question everything, and to come through the other side stronger.
I'm naturally tuned in to the complexities of identity, belonging, and the pressures many of us carry without even realising it. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, grief, a big life change, or just feeling stuck, I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can be fully yourself.

Integrative means I don't follow a single method. Instead, I draw from various types of approaches with the presence of Person-Centred therapy at the forefront. I may also draw from Gestalt techniques with an insight of Relational theory to understand patterns and relationships.

In-person sessions in Barkingside and Chigwell, Essex, or online from the comfort of your own space.

I welcome diversity of all kinds. My pronouns are she/her.
Who I Support
I support individuals going through life transitions, identity questions, anxiety, and the emotional weight that builds when we try to hold everything together on our own.
Navigating major changes, whether it's a career shift, relationship breakdown, becoming a parent, or simply feeling lost in a new chapter.
Exploring who you are, where you fit, and what matters to you, especially when expectations from family, culture, or society feel heavy.
Finding calm and clarity when life feels relentless, and learning to manage the stress that builds up over time.
Building strength and self-compassion in the face of grief, loss, burnout, and the everyday challenges that can feel anything but ordinary.
My Approach
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from various types of approaches with the presence of Person-Centred therapy at the forefront. I may also draw from Gestalt techniques with an insight of Relational theory to understand patterns and relationships.
Together, we create a space that feels safe enough to explore what matters most to you.
You set the pace. There's no set agenda or homework. Each session is led by you, with my gentle support and presence.
I hold a deep appreciation for the complexity of identity, background, and lived experience. I understand that your story shapes how you see the world.
I understand the challenges that relationships can have, whether new or long-term. I will aim to gently reconnect you with yourself and empower you, improving your ability to deal with life's demands. I also offer support around challenges that arise with navigating parenting.
No clinical jargon, no pressure. Just a genuine, down-to-earth space where you can be fully yourself.
